Night is a good disguise for black pelts.
The pine forest was dark and misty that night. In the heart of the island, it was home to one of the most important resources. Water. The only stream on the island, it snaked through the trees, cool and pure, ready to slake even the thirstiest hybrid. Only trouble was, it sprang from the ground on the Black Rose side of the forest. The scent boundaries were will marked, but it couldn't stop the thirsty Silver Lotus tribe members.
Skirting the forest, Razorblade lifted his head to scent the air. There were on Black Rose hybrids close; that was good. His pitch-black pelt, dotted faintly with panther-spots, slid through the undergrowth. His claws were padded by a thick layer of needles. As he neared the boundary, he looked around. No, no one. Quickly, he stepped over it. Making no sound in the silent forest, he darted in and out of trees, under low-hanging branches and around fern clumps at an impossible speed, the silver blades lining his back and legs glinting traitorously, obvious in the gloom. His claws were sheathed for now, though if he had to run faster he'd have to extend them to get a grip on the damp moss.
Trespasser, the trees whispered at him. Razor ducked his head, knowing that their statements were true. His lithe body slipped round a pine tree, and he came to the stream. As he bent down to drink, his blue-tipped mane fell into the water. It started between his ears and ended at the base of his tail. Out of it poked the lethal blades that could be laid flat in times of speed. They were laid flat against the midnight hairs now, so that they didn't catch the moonlight and give away his position. His tongue lapped quickly at the cool water.
As he looked into the stream, a face stared back; black, feline, with a longer muzzle and pointed ears studded with silver. His mane fell between them and got into his eyes. Angrily, he shook it away. This was not a time for distractions. He could be attacked any second. Razor loosed his claws, feeling them sink into the marshy ground beside the river. They gleamed paley, like the blades on his back. Longer then his muzzle and cruelly pointed, they could do some serious damage. Reassured by their sharpness, he took another lap at the water. He was in enemy territory now. If Black Rose wanted a fight, they'd get one.

She had been waiting. She know that soon a Silver Lotus would come to get a drink and she would be ready. She had been waiting there since noon only leaving to go and get a fast bite to eat and a quick drink. She heard a slight noise. It sounded as if a Silver Lotus was finally coming to get a drink. She bunched up her mussels, ready to pounce. What she saw amazed her. He was the most beautiful hybrid she had ever seen, besides her self. She loosened her mussels, not wanting to jump him anymore. She stepped put of the bush after he got his drinks. She moved into the brightest patch of moonlight so he could she her. "I am Ripped Heart, Alpha of Black Rose. I will let you leave this time with out wounds but don't come back." she said, "I suggest you leave now or you can stay and we can talk." She slid her 5in talons in and out. The moon shone and glistened off her talons as she slid them in and out. She moved out of the strong moonlight. Her fur seemed to glow. "Well if you want to be able to drink tell me your turn and maybe I will grant you times to drink."

Well, whaddya know.
The water was cool, tasting of clouds and storms. His fluttering heart still didn't slow. He just didn't feel right. Like he was being watched. Was he? Quickly he looked round again, drawing in huge breaths, hoping to detect a scent. Luckily, the wind had changed, bringing the distinctive Black Rose scent to his scent glands. Razor looked round again, and caught a flash of silver.
And then the hidden Alpha Female revealed herself. Ripped Heart had a fearsome reputation. Automatically unsheilding his dagger-like claws, he listened, head low as she spoke. The tension in his shoulders loosed slightly. Why wasn't she attacking him?
Then he actually comprehended what she said? His paranoia kicked in, and as she finished speaking he sprang, landing in front of her. His muzzle curled in a feral snarl as he spat, "What's your game? What are you trying to pull off?" Not waiting for an answer, he carried on, even though his brain was telling him there was no threat. "For your information, I am Razorblade, Alpha of Silver Lotus."
He hated having to accept being wrong. And he knew he was in the wrong. Not caring, he looked away, sheathing and unsheathing his claws. He took comfort in the fact that they were sharp. He'd sharpened them earlier, expecting a fight while he drank. The long tasseled tail flicked. Then he slid his claws in and turned away, crossing the river with a single easy bound. He flicked his tail, the electric blue tip waving in the moonlight. Then he vanished in the trees.
He wasn't gone. Standing just out of sight in the forest, he looked back, his curiosity getting the better of him. What would she do? Follow him? Suddenly, he didn't mind if she did.

She jumped over the rive to make sure he had left. She pulled the win over her scent glands to check the scents. "Shoot," she thought, "The wind is blowing the wrong way." She was pretty sure he hadn't left. She walked over to the brushes and stuck her head in the bush right next to the one he was in. "Hello?" she questioned. "I know you are here so you might as well come out." she said this but not being sure if her was there. She walked to the bush he was in and said, "Hello Razorblade, I see you didn't leave." She stepped into the bush and sat, staring at him, waiting to see what he would do.

(( I'll make him fight. Yay! I just feel like it.))
Why did she follow me?
He didn't know. Well, this was her territory, and he was an invader. Meow. Looking at her, Razor saw that she still wanted to talk. Wow... the first time I've seen a Black Rose so happy to see me... Suddenly he was tempted to sit and talk, simply because he could and she didn't want to attack him. Then he thought of his Tribe. What would they say? He winced, imagining dreadful things. "You let her away without any scars? Shame on you." He grimaced. Fighting was his instinct, and he could invoke quite a temper. Quickly, he worked it up, imagining his Tribe's scorn was ringing in his ears. Ouch.
Then he felt it, like a bubbling pit of magma inside him. His temper rose like a drowsy snake, ready to spit venom. Time to earn my keep.
Claws out, he ducked low, then sprang up. All his power went into this leap, it took him higher then her head. Now, if he had aimed right, he should land on her back claws-first. Then he could rip and tear all he liked, using the super-duper swiftness that only he could muster. Or she could just dodge, and kill him with one bite. Oh well. Beggers can't be choosers, now.

((Okay. If Ripped Heart chooses to strike back, we enter a fight. Each character gets five hits and two dodges. I'll explain as we go on.))

"Who dose he think he is?" she wondered as she saw him getting ready to jump. Then he sprang. She reared up wanting to sink her claws into his soft under side, just enough to hurt him really bad, but not enough to kill. Then she ran to the side so that when he fell and if he fell she could so give him a bite to remeber her by.
